TEACHER/ADULT LEADER PROCESS:

1.
You will complete the Free Annual Registration to participate in Dreamline.

We recommend a PWC Donation to Dreamline but this is NOT required.

Dreamline’s PWYC policy is in keeping with our values of Radical Inclusivity. Our suggested contribution is $35 per class group or $1 per student participant. However, groups who can pay more help Pay It Forward for groups who will pay less.

2.
You will give  your students directions to express their dreams to share with the world using paper for online and cloth for on site. We call this a Dreamline Banner.

Optional additions:

>They make an audio (NOT video) recording of themselves reading the words on the Banner.
>They write hashtags on the bottom of the banner based on the dream.

3.
They will send a photo of  it to you with optional voice recording.

4.
You will upload student work to the Dreamline Gallery with the Dreamline World mobile app.

5.
Students will see each other’s work in our Gallery and follow any directions you give them for response.

MAKE SURE STUDENTS FOLLOW THESE RULES:

1.
BANNER SIZE IS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO 23 CM WIDE (9 IN) AND 30 CM TALL (12 IN).

MUST be vertical (portrait) NOT horizontal (landscape).  8.5 x 11 in. size is OK for this during quarantine

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS if you can download them.

2.
NO NAMES ON BANNERS OR IN AUDIO RECORDINGS

3.
USE 3:4 PHOTO SIZE FOR PHOTOGRAPHING BANNER. INCLUDE ONLY THE BANNER. GET AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE. FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS if you can download them.

4.
NO QUOTES. Must be your OWN words.

5.
NO COPY-PASTE ART. Must be your OWN art.

REASONS FOR THESE RULES:

1 & 3: EQUITY AND INCLUSION.
Each person’s dream gets the same space and size in our program.

2: INTERNET SAFETY

4 & 5: YOUR VOICE COUNTS
Every person has a unique contribution to make. We need each person’s unique voice to contribute to making a better world!

Accolades

“Dreamline offers a simple yet profound way to connect the human family in a time of social distancing.”

Sue Blythe, Creator of We, the World’s Climate Collaboratory

Dreamline’s online program gives kids an opportunity to dream big – beyond the frustrations and limitations of our current situation. Having meaningful goals to work towards will energize them and the online Dreamline will help them feel connected to other kids at a time when connections are harder to come by.

–3rd Grade Teacher, Philadelphia, PA

“Now more than ever, the health and security of our planet depends on the realization that our local wellbeing is connected to global actions. Dreamline enables youth to connect online to achieve this realization and to start brainstorming ways to transform the world for the better, using others’ creative ideas as inspiration.
